To maximize the value of capture, the new development plan for the fishing of small pelagic aims to encourage the integration between the upstream and the downstream of the sector by grouping ship-owners alongside industrial partners. In addition, the total capture will be landing in the Moroccan ports.
IEC (International Exhibitions & Conferences) and the Chamber of Fishing Agadir organize from the 27th to the 29th of May 2010 in partnership with the National Office of Fishing, the seventh edition of Agadir Fish Morocco: "International Exhibition of Fishing and Seafood Processing Industry".
The organization of this edition is marked by the announcement of His Majesty King Mohammed VI of the new fishing industry strategy that revolves around 3 key concepts: sustainability, competitiveness and performance.
The fishing industry and the exploitation of sea products has now a real management tool that gives a particular interest to the resources and its sustainability, the tools of its operations (including port facilities), optimization of its exploitation with an emphasis on aquaculture called upon to strengthen its contribution to the overall fishing production.
Agadir Fish Morocco 2010 will be a real platform to promote this strategy in addition to providing a showcase of the Moroccan fishing industry. The program of the event comprises related events and conferences relevant to the sector and its development.
